Kathmandu. On Tuesday, two votes have been dropped in favor of Janaki state. The polling for Janaki state, which was proposed by the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), had six votes. In addition, Janaki state has been rejected by the CPN-M in the province. 

Janaki has lost 4 votes in the state and three in opposition as it has six state assembly members.

The CPN  has five MPs in the province. Five votes are in favor of the CPN. However, it is not clear which party MPs voted. Now in the second phase, there will be a vote for the Mithila province proposed by the Congress. 
Two-thirds of the vote is required to nominate the state, namely, after the six votes, the name of the province is passed
